I was really encouraged to have Tim, my brother from work with me on Friday night at the Xfinity arena, where an international gymnastics meet was being held. Attendance was a little light, but I had the privilege of preaching to over 40 people as they waited for the doors to open. An arena usher came out after I was finished and told me I couldn't use amplification. I explained I had gotten the ok from the city to do so. I have a voice-mail from Megan Monroe, the Everett city safey officer explaining it was OK. He tried to tell me not on arena property but I explained I was on public property. As he walked away, he said you can use your voice, not the microphone. I asked, you really want me you raise my voice, and he said I'd rather not have you here at all, but I won't get int that.
Then, Saturday night, Rick, my brother from church partnered with me. Attendance was much higher, and we passed out two or three hundred Gospel tracts, and preached to somewhere around 150 people. While I was preaching this demon possessed drunk old woman came up and started cursing me and telling me to stop bothering the people. She was cursing me in a gravelly voice, saying leave these kids alone, you pedophile. She even called 911, and lodged a complaint. After the drunk left, and I finished preaching, a woman came up with her two teenage daughters, and encouraged us. The lady said she prayed for us, and was binding the demon in Jesus name.
Rick preached a message of hope in Jesus Christ.
