Kla Ha Ya
Brother Thomas and I handed out over five hundred Gospel tracts and had several one-to-one conversations at the Snohomish Kla Ha Ya Days festival. I wore my "Good news" tee shirt, and that prompted a man to say, "tell me the good news"; of course I gladly took that opportunity.
We saw several people from church, and received encouragement.
God bless...

A Taste of Truth
Last night, brother Joel and I went to Xfinity Arena where they were having a Rochstar energy drink concert.
Glory to God, by His grace it was a success. We handed out many Gospel tracts and I preached the following:
Hi friends, my name is Keith and I’m a born-again Christian and I'd like to share the Gospel message with you while you wait.
What I have to say comes by way of a warning; but it’s because I care about you. I’m your neighbor; I live locally and work locally. I care about you right here and and now. As well, I care your soul; your eternal salvation. The Bible says to love your neighbor; I'm here to do just that.
That said, I have an observation to make. You tell me if I'm wrong, but here's my observation; I sense some inconsistency between the way you live your life, and your choice of entertainment. I know, this is just a concert. It's entertainment; I understand that. You want to blow off a little steam, I get it. But I doubt you’d really appreciate a taste of chaos in your life, yet you'd come to a concert called “a taste of chaos”? Think about it, we don't need any more chaos in this world. The Bible calls the days we live in, evil. Two thousand years ago, the Bible predicted that “perilous times” would come, and they're here, and nobody’s happy about it. Everything from wars to terror attacks, from floods and tornadoes to forest fires and earthquakes. From famine, disease, economic problems; crime, injustice, you name it, the list goes on. On a very large scale, that's all very bad news, but it doesn't stop there. You and I face some very serious issues in our own lives, not the least of which is our mortality. We will all die. Ten out of ten die. But we all love life. We cling to it. Just the fact that you're here for “entertainment” shows you want to embellish your life; you want to enjoy life. We all have a natural, built-in will to live. We know life is good and death is bad. We do everything in our power to prevent death. Death is not your friend and it was never your intended destiny. You were created for life.
With that in mind, I'd like to share the Gospel with you, Gospel is Bible talk for good news. It's good news about how to have eternal life. How to go to heaven when you die. How to be made right with God. How to be reconciled to God, because the Bible says we're all alienated and estranged from God. The Bible says we're enemies of God because of wicked works in our minds. It is sin that separates us from God.
Why is there death anyway?
What is sin?
How will we be judged, by what standard?
God's righteousness as reflected in the Ten Commandments
What are the consequences of breaking the Law?
Death
Hell
The good news is that we did the crime, but Jesus paid our fine.
The birth
The life
The death
The burial
The resurrection
Eternal life is a free gift.
Repent
Believe
When you repent and trust Jesus as your Lord and Savior, you will be born again.
Don't wait
Read your Bible, obey what you read and God will never let you down, and you'll never be ashamed because God is faithful and true.
